Featuring Aadi, Surbhi, and Raashi Singh in lead roles, Sashi is written by I Ravi and directed by Srinivas Naidu Nadikatla. Bankrolled by R. P. Verma, Chavali Ramanjaneyulu, and Chintalapudi Srinivasa Rao under Sri Hanuman Movie Makers banner, the music and background score is composed by Arun Chiluveru. The musical album is already a hit much before the release of the movie. Cinematography is handled by Amarnath Bommireddy and editing is done by Satya G. Let us see the merits and demerits of Sashi.
A love story with lots of surprises
Raj (Aadi) is a hot-tempered youth who is not serious about life. He lives with his mother, brother, and sister and all the family’s burden is taken care of by his brother, Ajay (Ajay). Raj is a music lover and he falls in love at first sight with Sashi (Surabhi). Sashi also has a feeling for Raj, however, doesn’t express them. The twist in the tale occurs when Sashi tries to express her love.
Aadi raises the bar
Aadi makes a strong comeback with Sashi. The pre-release buzz has certainly shown hopes Aadi has pinned on this flick. His performance in different shades is remarkable and this movie stands out as one of his best in his acting career. Surbhi is a surprise package and has given her best to the character that has different shades. Ajay, Rajeev Kanakala, Raashi Singh, Viva Harsha, and others were apt in the roles they portrayed.
Arun nails it with his music
Director Srinivas Naidu Nadikatla had a good script to narrate and has done a decent job with his direction. Arun Chiluveru’s music and background score are the major highlights of this movie. The song Okey Oka Lokam stands out among the rest and is good to watch on screen as well. Editing by Satya could have been much crisper, and the production values are decent. Amarnath Bommireddy’s visuals are pleasing aesthetically.
WATCH OR NOT:
Sashi is a love story with varied emotions and heartwarming moments. The lead pair performances and Arun Chiluveru’s music are the major highlights of this movie. College scenes and climax came out really well and you watch it with families and friends.
