‘Aaradugula Bullet’ starring Gopichand and Nayanthara has finally hit theatres. It was meant to release in 2017. It has been directed by B Gopal, the music and background score are by Mani Sharma and cinematography is handled by M Balamurugan. While the story is by Vakkantam Vamsi and the dialogues are written by Abburi Ravi. The supporting cast include Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Jaya Prakash Reddy and Abhimanyu Singh.
The movie is a total mass entertainer
Siva (Gopichand) is a rash adolescent who adores his family to the point of obsession. However, his father (Prakash Raj) disapproves of Siva’s aimlessness in life. Siva falls in love with Nayana (Nayanthara), and just when things appear to be going well, a feared don (Abhimanyu Singh) seizes Siva’s father’s land. Siva must fight the odds to save his property and win his father’s heart.
Gopichand and Nayanthara share crackling chemistry
Gopichand is ideal for the part and he and Nayanthara make a terrific on-screen couple. Director B Gopal has done an excellent job of showcasing him in the fights. Prakash Raj plays a pivotal role in the film and delivers an emotionally charged performance.
The movie lags a bit in the second half. Yet it delivers what it’s meant to – the joys of a drama and action-packed potboiler.
WATCH OR NOT
‘Aaradugula Bullet’ is a standard action drama with a strong first half. Gopichand fans on a mission never to miss a single movie featuring their idol will enjoy it the most.
