An intense crime suspense thriller
Krishna (Pavan Tej) is an aspiring actor who seeks help from his friend Raghu (Naveen Neni) to introduce him to Producer Real Ratnam (Raghu Babu). Real Ratnam is a fan of producing movies that have real incidents. Surya (Abhay Bhethiganti) is an upcoming director who is on look for producers who can make a movie. When they meet Real Ratnam, the producer tells them to come up with a real incident story. In the meantime, a lady named Geetha was shot dead in mysterious circumstances at Dolphin Guest House. Inspector Rajeev (Prudhvi) takes up the case and the investigation reveals that there is a link with these movie makers. What happens next had to be seen in cinemas.
The debutantes perform it with ease
Ee Kadhalo Paathralu Kalpitam introduces Pavan Tej Konidela and Telugu girl Meghana to the silver screen. Pavan Tej Konidela has shown ease at acting and was good in action sequences. While it was his first movie, he has shown maturity in acting. Other debutante Meghana is good-looking and performed well. It is heartening to see a Telugu girl making her entry into Tollywood, where it is largely ruled by Malayalam and Hindi actresses. Raghu Babu was at his usual best as producer Real Ratnam and Prithvi excelled in the cop rule. Naveen and Abhay were good in their respective roles and so are the rest of the cast.
Abhiram makes a decent directorial debut
Abhiram has chosen a crime thriller as his debut movie subject and came out with flying colors. The twists and turns keep the audience hooked and has ensured that the movie is engaging throughout. Karthik Kodakandla’s music and background score add the required spice and Sunil Kumar’s visuals are good. The editing is crisp and production values are good for this low-budget movie.
