A story of four people from different worlds
Mahendra (Srikanth), Lakshmi (Bhumika Chawla), Ajay (Sumanth Ashwin) and Meghana (Tanya Hope) are bikers. Mahendra wants to ride his favourite bike to Ladakh to see his first love, Tulasi, with whom he split up 25 years ago. Lakshmi is a working-class woman who attempts to balance her family and her ambitions. She used to have a checklist, but now she realises it’s time to follow her heart. Ajay is risking his life to go on an exciting ride and follow his passion for vlogging, but his father begs him to leave since he considers him a “failure.” Once he reaches Ladakh, he sets out on a stolen bike to race. Meghana, depressed by a broken love story, seeks refuge on the long, twisting roads.
A new genre for Telugu cinema
Director Guru Pawan should be commended for making a film that falls into a genre rarely seen in Telugu cinema: the road trip movie. But while the visuals of landscape are fantastic, the film could have explored the emotional worlds of the characters in greater depth.
The foursome make the movie a fun trip
The lead actors get into the skins of their characters effectively. Sumanth puts in an energetic performance and special mention must be made of his hairstyle.
