Touted to be a romantic entertainer, this is the third directorial movie for Venky Atluri after Tholi Prema and Mr. Majnu. A cute family entertainer

Arjun (Nithiin) and Anupama (Keerthy Suresh) are friends since childhood and are neighbors as well. Arjun’s father (Naresh) always belittles him as Anu is brighter in his studies. Eventually, Arjun resorts to unscrupulous methods to clear the engineering final year exams and ends up with a good GMAT score. A few unexpected events result in the couple getting married. They move to Dubai for higher studies. How they accept life together as a married couple forms the rest of Rang De.

Nithiin and Keerthy Suresh chemistry is awesome

Nithiin is yet another actor growing like a wine who is aging backward. Since his debut movie Jayam, which released about a couple of decades back, he still looks super apt as the lover boy. He played the role of a boy in his twenties and carried it with ease. Keerthy Suresh is yet another surprise package that looked super cool as Anu. The chemistry between Anu and Arjun is the USP of Rang De. Venella Kishore as Adivi Sastri was able to generate some fun and so is Abhinav with his one-liner. Suhas, Naresh, and the rest of the cast are apt in their respective roles.

Emotions work big time

Venky Atluri who has directed Tholi Prema and Mr Majnu in the past has come up with yet another love story in his third directorial movie. With Rang De, he has completed a hattrick of entertaining love stories that are rich in emotions. PC Sreeram’s visuals are amazing, and the lead pair look more beautiful than ever. Devi Sri Prasad’s music and background score are as usual at their best. Editing by Naveen Noli is spot on. Every penny spent by Sithara Entertainments for Rang De is visible on the celluloid.

WATCH OR NOT

Rang De is yet another cute family entertainer with tons of love and heartwarming emotions. It has all the elements for the youth and family audience to get connected with. If you are a fan of romantic love entertainers, this one is not to be missed.
