Aatkal Thevai directed by Sakthee Sivan stars Mime Gopi and the director himself as the leads. Actor Atharva revealed the first look of the film and Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi released the trailer a week later. The music for the film is composed by Karthik Raja and produced by Madhukar Chellappan.
Aatkal Thevai looks to be a brisk action drama
The shoot for the film is about to wrap up as it is in its final stages of filming. The first look reveals Mime Gopi in a pensive mood with the tagline ‘drugs injurious to health’. This has made many wonders if the plot revolves around drug smuggling. However, we will have to wait and watch. The trailer indicates that it could be a drug-related saga with lots of suspense and action thrown in.As for the details of its premier, we are yet to gain any information about whether it will make its way to the theatres or if id opts for an OTT release.
