Hey Sinamika will mark the directorial debut of age dance choreographer Brinda Gopal. The film stars Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role with Kajal Agarwal and Aditi Rao Hydari playing the female leads. The technical crew of this film includes Govind Vasantha for music, with Preetha Jayaraman handling the camera. Hey Sinamika is being bankrolled by Jio Studios, which will be its first production venture in Kollywood.

A breezy rom-com in the making
The film went on the floors in March but was stalled due to the COVID pandemic.With talented actors in the fray, Hey Sinamika is touted to be a fresh and breezy romantic comedy. The shooting of the film has officially been wrapped up and is nearing post production stage. Interestingly,the title of the film has been taken from the song of Dulquer’s own movie with Manirathnam,Ok Kanmani,in which Hey Sinamika was a super hit track.The film also features veteran actors K Bhagyaraj, Suhasini Mani Ratnam and Khushbu Sundar.
