Kaval Thurai Ungal Nanban, helmed by filmmaker RDM, centers on the issues and plight faced by innocent victims during the Sterlite protest that took place. The film starring VJ-turned-actor Suresh Ravi and Raveena Ravi in lead roles is all set to hit the screens on November 27th. The film also had Aatkal Thevai’s Mime Gopi appearing in an important role.

Atlee, Andhagaaram starring Arjun Das and Vinodh Kishan is all set to premiere on Netflix on the 24th of November. Expected to be a thriller with supernatural elements the film is highly anticipated by audiences. Actors Vidharth and Ramya Nambeesan will be teaming up for a new film titled Endravadhu Oru Naal. Directed by Vetri Duraisamy, the film’s first look was released by director Vetri Maaran.“The film is shot in Vellakoil, the drier side of the Kongu belt. The story revolves around a farming family for whom their cattle is of prime importance. What happens when that’s threatened and what risks they will take to save them forms the rest of the story,” says Vetri Duraisamy. Also starring Ilavarasu and Master Raghavan, the film is expected to hit the screens by the end of February.

Vaigarai Balan, a former associate of Sasikumar, has chosen a script revolving around elderly people titled Chiyangal. “Chiyan is the word used by the people across few areas in Southern Tamil Nadu to address the elderly men in their neighborhood. The film talks about the problems old people face and how society looks at them, not in preachy style but in a fun-filled manner. The film also delves into the lives of old people, their joys, pains, emotions and sentiments,” says Balan. The film is expected to hit theatres soon.
