KaavalThurai Ungal Nanban which translates to “Police is your friend” is a narrative that features the protagonist Prabhu played by Suresh Ravi, a food delivery executive who leads a happy and decent life with his wife (Raveena Ravi) until an incident gets him into a dispute with a policeman. As the situation escalates into something way more sinister, Prabhu realises the corruptive power of the police force and decides to stand up for his rights as a common man. What happens as a result of this clash forms the core of the story. The film is a grating commentary on the manipulation of law over innocent people and it has caught the eye of many prominent personalities in the film industry who have lavished praise on it.
