MS Anandan’s directorial Chakra, starring Vishal, Regina Cassandra, and Shraddha Srinath in the lead roles, will hit theatres worldwide on February 19. The makers will be releasing the film in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. The Hindi version will be titled “Chakra Ka Rakshak”. Vishal, who is known for action films like ‘Sandakozhi’, ‘Thimiru’ and ‘Thaamirabharani’, is also producing the movie.
Chakra looks to be a Vishal action fest
‘Chakra’, directed by debutante M S Anandan, revolves around a mass robbery that happens on Independence Day. Vishal plays the role of an army officer, while Srinath of ‘Vikram Vedha’ and ‘Jersey’ and Maara fame will essay the part of a cop in the film. The film also stars Regina Cassandra, Srushti Dange, Manobala, and Robo Shankar. With Vishal’s penchant for essaying successful action-packed roles, Chakra looks to be another blockbuster in the actor’s comfort zone judging from the kickass trailer. Shraddha Srinath is expected to have a meaty role in the film.
