Actor Harish Kalyan has teamed up with director Elan and music director Yuvan Shankar Raja for a new movie titled Hey. The trio’s previous venture, the 2018 romantic comedy Pyaar Prema Kadhal, was widely acclaimed and did great numbers at the box office. Harish Kalyan has been a popular face in Tamil cinema with many breezy entertainers to his credit including Dharala Prabhu, the Tamil remake of Ayushmann Khurana’s Vicky Donor. He also developed a rapport with audiences during his stint at Bigg Boss.

Hey will be a coming-of-age film
Hey is produced by Screen Scene Cinemas. Shooting will start towards the end of February 2021, with Chennai, Mumbai, and Ooty planned as the locations. The cast of the movie including the female lead is expected to be announced soon. Regarding what genre the film is going to be and the storyline, we will get more information about it in the coming weeks. As of now, we know that it will be a coming of age film. The director has also revealed that Harish Kalyan will have multiple looks in the film which will be of interest to the audiences.
Hey looks to be a film that will attract the millennials and judging by the actors previous outing with the music director and filmmaker, the trio is all set to score once more.
