Slowly and steadily, Tollywood is getting back to work by taking all the necessary precautions, especially now that the theatres are reopening. It is time for the makers of Most Eligible Bachelor to have resumed the shoot as well.
Written and directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar, Most Eligible Bachelor features Akkineni Akhil and Pooja Hegde in lead roles. If not for the Corona pandemic, the movie would have already hit the theatres.
The lead cast along with other prominent characters are seen to have joined the final leg of the shoot. A while ago, the makers revealed the quarantine poster of Akhil and Pooja Hegde and also locked the release date for Sankranthi 2021.
Amani, who played the role of Akhil’s mother in Sisindri, a movie based on Baby’s Day Out, is said to have reprised the mother’s role again for Most Eligible Bachelor. Co-incidentally, Sisindri completed 25 years of its release yesterday.

Pooja Hegde is excited as anyone else to join the sets and has shared her happiness in her Instagram account. This is what she captioned – “The bands back together”. She shared the pic from the sets of the film standing at the front of her vanity van along with her team members. All of her staff members are seen wearing masks and PPE kits.
Akhil Akkineni is working hard on MEB and it shows
After making a comeback as a full-length hero, Akkineni Akhil is still looking out for a solid break to cement his place and more expectations are being laid on Most Eligible Bachelor. Gopi Sundar is composing the music and background score for this flick and Pradeesh Varma is handling the cinematography.
If all goes as planned, this Akkineni Scion is set to prove that he is indeed the most eligible bachelor coming Sankranthi.
Akhil’s next after Most Eligible Bachelor is confirmed with Surender Reddy, who is going to direct the movie and jointly produce it with Anil Sunkara of AK Entertainments. For sure, this charming hero has lined up some promising projects that will most likely get him to the next level.
The rest of the cast in prominent roles include Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore, Jayaprakash, Pragathi, Amit Tiwari, Eesha Rebba, Getup Srinu, Sudigali Sudheer and Abhay Bethiganti. The movie is jointly produced by Bunny Vaas and Vasu Varma. The run time of the movie is poised to be around 170 minutes.
