This magnum opus is being made on a huge budget of Rs 300 Cr and is bankrolled by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Jackky Bhagnani under Pooja Entertainment banner.

The movie was supposed to feature Vikram in the titular role of Karna and Suresh Gopi was assumed to be playing the role of Duryodhana. However, the latest reports suggest that the casting is yet to be finalized. We’ll have to wait for some time for an official announcement.
Noted politician Dr Kumar Vishwas has penned the lyrics and dialogues for the Hindi version. The movie is simultaneously being made in 5 languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
KK Senthil Kumar, who worked for Rajamouli’s magnum opus will be handling the cinematography while AR Rehman is roped in as the music director.
Suryaputra Mahavir Karna is based on Vyasa’s Mahabharata and B Jeyamohan has penned dialogues for Tamil version. The editing department is headed by A Sreekar Prasad.
This movie will be the second venture for director RS Vimal who has earlier directed a Superhit Malayalam movie titled Ennu Ninte Moideen, released in 2015. The movie won many accolades and awards for his direction and screenplay.
