Starring Sajja Teja, Anandhi, and Daksha Nagarkar in the lead roles, Zombie Reddy is directed by Prasanth Varma, who has earlier directed Awe and Kalki. Billed to be the first zombie film in Telugu cinema, the movie is also loosely based on the Covid-19 pandemic.

Set in the backdrop of Kurnool, the rest of the cast include Harsha Vardhan, Daksha Nagarkar, Raghu Babu, Hari Teja, Getup Srinu, Prudhvi Raj, Raghu Karumanchi, Kireeti Damaraju, Annapooran, Mahesh Vitta, Vijay Ranga Raju, and others in prominent roles.

Sajja Teja, who acted as a child artist in several movies earlier and was also seen in a prominent role in the recently released Samantha starrer Ohh Baby, is making his debut as the main protagonist.

Bankrolled by Raj Shekar Varma under Apple Tree Studios Production, the music and background score are composed by Mark K Robin while the cinematography is handled by Anith. The Screenplay of the movie is done by the team of Scriptsville, owned by the director himself. The dialogues are written by Tajuddin Syed and editing is taken care of by Sai Babu.

All set for a big zombie release on February 5th, the team has organized a grand pre-release event yesterday and Mega Prince graced the function as the chief guest. The recently released trailer has all vibes of being a super fun thrill ride, giving a first of its kind experience to people watching Telugu cinema.

While we have seen several Zombie genres made in English and each one in Hindi and Tamil, Zombie Reddy is set to enthrall its Telugu audience in cinemas for the first time with this genre. The movie has completed the censor formalities and received a U/A certificate. The run-time of the movie is 125 mins.
