Written and directed by Vidya Sagar Raju, FCUK: Father Chitti Uma Kaarthik, features Jagapathi Babu, Ram Karthik, Ammu Abhirami, and Baby Sahrashita in titular roles. Touted to be a comedy movie based on three generations, the music and background score is composed by Bheems Ceciroleo and the cinematography is handled by G Shiva.
The rest of the cast includes Master Bharath, Ali, Krishna Bhagawan, Brahmaji, Rajitha, Ram Prasad, Naveen, Venky, Raghava, Kalyani Natarajan, and Raja. Bankrolled by KL Damodar Prasad under Sri Ranjith Movies, the movie is set to release in cinemas this Friday.
The recently released teaser promises a lot of fun and we get to see Jagapathi Babu in the protagonist role after a while. The last movie that he played the lead role was probably PATEL Sir, which was released in 2017.
Jagapathi Babu plays the role of a father, Fani Kumar, while Karthik plays his son, Ram Karthik. The fun begins when Jagapathi Babu gives birth to a baby girl, Chitti, after his son is married.
The movie carries a decent buzz as it comes from the production house that has produced several hit movies in the past such as Ala Modalaindhi, Kalyana Vaibhogame, and Anthaku Mundu Aa Tarvatha. Known to make neat and clean family entertainers, this is probably the first time that a movie from this banner was given ‘A’ certificate by the censors.
However, Damodar Prasad was quick to clarify that – “There are no vulgar scenes in the movie, and it was given this certificate due to some dialogues. They could have easily gone with a U/A certificate if they had beeped the dialogues. However, as it will lose the essence, they went forward with it.”
Stay tuned for the review of the movie and for all other interesting updates surrounding Telugu cinema.
