Shiva Nirvana made his directorial debut with Nani’s Ninnu Kori and is now directing him for the second time with Tuck Jagadish. In between, he directed Naga Chaitanya’s Majili and gave him the biggest solo hit of his career. He is all set to complete a hattrick with Tuck Jagadish, bankrolled by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi under the Shine Screens banner.

Touted to be a comedy drama, Tuck Jagadish features Jagapathi Babu as Nani’s brother while Aishwarya Rajesh and Ritu Varma play the lead actresses opposite Nani. The movie also features Rao Ramesh, Vennela Kishore and Praveen in prominent roles. The music and background score is composed by S Thaman and editing is handled by Prawin Pudi.

Tuck Jagadishh was officially launched early this year and the regular shoot commenced in February 2020. Few portions of the shoot were canned in Pollachi and Rajahmundry before the corona pandemic brought a halt to the proceedings. The shooting resumed in Hyderabad from October and is going on at a brisk pace.
There is a lot of freshness in the casting as Aishwarya Rajesh and Ritu Varma are paired opposite Nani for the first time. Shiva Nirvana has proved his mettle by directing a couple of pleasant love stories such as Ninnu Kori and Majili. We will have to wait and see if Tuck Jagadish follows the same genre or if he has attempted something different.

If everything goes as planned, Tuck Jagadish might hit theatres early next year by summer season and Nani has lined up a few other interesting movies in the pipeline after Tuck Jagadish. He has Shyam Singha Roy directed by Taxiwaala fame Rahul Sankrityan and Ante Sundariniki directed by Vivek Athreya.
