Finally, the Telugu cinema is back to normalcy post the lockdown. With the theatres given permission for 100% occupancy, most of the producers have announced the release dates of their movies. Let us peek into some of the interesting updates and happenings that occurred over the past week.

Chaavu Kaburu Challaga gets a release date

Starring Karthikeya and Lavanya Tripati in lead roles, Chaavu Kaburu Challaga is directed by Koushik Pegallapati and bankrolled by GA2 Pictures. The movie is set to release in cinemas on March 19th.

Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s Pushpa has completed a big schedule at Rampachodavaram and Maredumilli, and the major portions of the movie is shot here. The unit is scheduled to complete one more major schedule at Hyderabad. It is also learnt that Director Sukumar is planning a terrific action sequence where Bunny will be seen fighting a group of wolves. The movie is scheduled for release on August 13th.

Allari Naresh Naandhi trailer out

Directed by Vijay Kanakamedala, the trailer of Allari Naresh’s upcoming movie, Naandhi, is out and looks interesting. Allari Naresh has come out of his comedy genre and we get to see him in a serious role. Bankrolled by Satish Vegesana, the movie will release on Feb 19th

Dr Rajashekar’s new movie is titled Sekhar

Dr Rajasekhar’s new movie is titled Shekar – Man with the Scar. Directed by Lalith, the movie happens to be the 91st movie of Rajashekar’s career. The movie is jointly bankrolled by MLV Satyanarayana and Rajashekar. Anup Rubens is the music director and Mallikarjun Natagani handles cinematography.

Akhil’s Most Eligible Bachelor to release on this day

Most Eligible Bachelor, featuring Akhil Akkineni and Pooja Hegde in lead roles, gets a release date. The movie will release on 19th June. Directed by Bommarillu Baskar, the movie is bankrolled by GA2 Pictures.

Sashi, featuring Aadi Sai Kumar and Surabhi in lead roles, was supposed to release on Feb 12th. However, the makers have moved the release date to March 19th. The movie is directed by Srinivas Naidu Nadikatla.

While every producer is revealing the release dates of movies, the latest to join the list was #Gopichand29 and Director Maruthi’s untitled movie. Bankrolled by UV creations and GA2 pictures, October 1 is the release date. Interestingly, the makers are yet to begin the shoot.
