And today, we bring you a list of movies that every business student or anyone who aspires to be an entrepreneur would enjoy. These movies will not just motivate you but will also show you how you can identify your talent and achieve your goals. And if you think about it, these movies end up teaching you biggest life lessons in an entertaining way which anybody can relate to.

So if you are stuck on your college research project or a case study, take a break and watch these movies to get some inspiration.

The Intern
Age is just a number and it doesn’t define what you do as long as you have the right work ethic. In the end, your aim is to satisfy the needs of your customer and if you channelize your energy to do that, it’s easy to make a company a huge success and this is exactly what you will notice in this movie.

Up in the Air
A company runs on the efforts and productivity of its employees. And when things don’t look good, a lot of companies prefer to choose the route of downsizing. What if it was your job to deliver those pink slips? Would you be able to handle it? This movie will show you how taxing it can be.

Band Baaja Baaraat
Do what you love the most and your work won’t feel like work anymore. But while you are at it, always make sure that you define what’s professional and personal because it doesn’t take much time for those lines to get blurry. Now, you don’t want complications because of that, do you?

Chef
You may be talented and a perfectionist, but if you don’t do anything about it and don’t let your creative juices flow, that talent gets wasted. So don’t be afraid to take risks, if done right with full conviction, it always pays off.

Pursuit of Happiness
The day you give up hope, you have lost the battle. This movie shows the real struggle of a single father and how he tries to get a secured job to fend for his family (son). Nike’s slogan, “Just do it” totally applies here.

Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year
Studies will give you the bookish knowledge but how you apply that knowledge in an unstable, ever chaotic business environment, talks a lot about your business acumen and makes you street smart. This movie teaches you how to take risks, find the right people to do the right job, and how you need to value your customers and your employees.

The Social Network
If you are stressed about your studies, always remember that professionals built Titanic and biggest companies are run by college dropouts. But that doesn’t mean you should give up easily. This movie is based on the life of Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Facebook, and through this story, you will learn how conflicts are caused if you don’t secure your brilliant ideas.

The Wolf of Wall Street
The corporate world may look posh but it does have a dark side, one that deals with embezzlement, laundering, fraud, and so on. If you make money the center of your universe, you end up bending and manipulating all the rules that can land you in big trouble.

Guru
This movie was inspired by the life of one of India’s biggest business tycoon, Dhirubhai Ambani. This movie shows you that if you have the determination, you can overcome any obstacles and achieve your ultimate goal.

Bonus: Girlboss
This is a new Netflix TV series and from its trailer you can understand that it’s going to be an interesting watch that will open you up to the world of e-commerce.

Audiences Hail Karnan As A Masterpiece In Tamil Cinema

It’s finally here! ‘Karnan‘ starring Dhanush and directed by Mari Selvaraj has hit the theatres today. Touted to be one of biggest social dramas of the year, the film has been gaining much hype with its poster releases, music videos and the powerful trailer. Karnan also stars Malayalam actor Rajisha Vijaya who makes her Tamil debut with this film, alongside other actors such as Lakshmipriya Chandramouli, Gouri Kishen, Lal, and Yogi Babu in important roles. The cinematography has been handled by Theni Easwaran. Mari Selvaraj gained huge prominence for his grating caste drama ‘Pariyerum Perumal‘ which stunned audiences and critics for its open narration of the horror of the caste divide in society. This time around, the director once again sets the story in the rural milieu with Dhanush playing the titular role and a saviour-like figure of the masses. The audiences have spoken and the reviews are nothing short of stupendous.
