Featuring Sai Tej, Aishwarya Rajesh, Jagapathi Babu, and Ramya Krishnan in lead roles, Republic is directed by Prasthanam fame Deva Katta. Bankrolled by JB Entertainments, the music and background score is composed by Mani Sharma.
Republic is touted to be a political drama amalgamated with heavy lifting dialogues and neat commercial elements. The motion poster has given us a hint of the genre this movie would be. The title, Republic, carries heavy expectations and we can’t wait to get to see Deva Katta’s vision on the celluloid.

Fresh from the hattrick of hits that include Chitralahari, Prathi Roju Pandage and the recent Solo Brathuke So Better, Sai Tej is on cloud nine. The cinematography for this movie is handled by M Sukumar and the editing is taken care of by KL Praveen.

The director, Deva Katta, who made his debut with Vennela has made some path-breaking movies so far. His movie Prasthanam was commercially and critically acclaimed and he had later remade it in Hindi as well. He also directed a couple of movies titled Auto Nagar Surya with Naga Chaithanya and Dynamite with Manchu Vishnu in between Telugu and Hindi Prasthanam. Though they were critically applauded, it wasn’t able to reach the expectations commercially. We hope the movie Republic turns the table around.

She will also be seen in movies such as Tuck Jagadish with Nani and in the Pawan Kalyan-Rana multi starrer movie, an official remake of Ayyapanum Koshiyum.
