The lockdown was hard but the world is opening up again and with it, cinemas! In anticipation of being back in movie theatres, we conducted these polls among cinema buffs.

1. We asked audiences what their last movie in a theatre was. Tiger Shroff blockbuster Baaghi 3 polled the highest numbers.

2. When asked what people missed most about watching on the big screen, most voted for the larger than life experience.

3. On the other hand, the biggest pet peeve about cinemas turned out to be those incessant mobile phone users. Just put it on silent, man.

4. In the movie time snack stakes, cheese popcorn won the gold but it had a close competitor in butter popcorn!

5. The classic battle of ice cream flavours ended with a predictable winner: chocolate.

6. The best time to go out for a movie, according to popular vote, is the first day first show! Late night shows lost out only by a hair…

7. We asked people to choose a post-lockdown cinema partner and we got a tie between going with a best friend and going alone!

8. Looking forward now, the movie that people are most looking forward to is – drumroll please – Wonder Woman 1984!
