Disney+ Hotstar has unveiled the first look of it’s upcoming war saga 1962 The War In The Hills, which will hit our screens next month. As the name suggests, the series is based on the Indo-China war of 1962.
Directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, the show stars Abhay Deol in the lead role of an Indian Army major. This will be Deol’s second foray into the web series space after SonyLIV’s JL50 last year. The 90-second promo video, which was released by Disney+ Hotstar on Republic Day, draws parallels between the recent skirmishes in Ladakh and the 1962 war.
1962 The War In The Hills will stream on Disney+ Hotstar from Friday, February 26 on Disney+ Hotstar.
