So here are 7 cute and cheesy romantic movies, one for each day, for you to celebrate the week before V-day.

7th February: Rose Day – 50 First Dates

Our pick for this day is 50 First Dates starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. The film follows Henry (Sandler) who is an extremely flirty veterinarian who falls for an art teacher named Lucy. He soon discovers that Lucy has anterograde amnesia which means that she wakes up every day with no memories of the past. Henry soon resolves to win her over every day again and again.

8th February: Propose Day – The Proposal

Our pick for Propose Day is this Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds film called The Proposal. Quite apt, right? The plot of this film revolves around Margaret Tate, a Canadian executive editor-in-chief of a New York book publishing company. When Margaret learns that she may face deportation from the U.S due to her expired visa she convinces her assistant to temporarily act as her fiance.

For day three, we have picked Crazy, Stupid, Love. This film has an ensemble cast starring Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, Julianne Moore, Emma Stone, Marisa Tomei, and Kevin Bacon. The story of this film interconnects the lives of several people but primarily follows a recently separated man who is taught how to pick up women at bars by a complete stranger.

For day four we have picked the film Set It Up for you. Starring Zoey Deutch, Glen Powell, Taye Diggs, and Lucy Liu in lead roles, the plot of this film follows the journey of two extremely overworked assistants who try and set up their demanding bosses so that they can get a little bit of free time to themselves.

11th February: Promise Day – Falling Inn Love

For today’s pick, we have the film Falling Inn Love. The plot of this film revolves around Gabriela Diaz (Christina Milian) who loses her job and breaks up with her non-committed boyfriend Dead within a week. She enters a “Win and Inn” contest for an Inn in the countryside of New Zealand and ends up winning it. After flying thousands of miles she discovers that the inn is a bad shape and it’s on the verge of crumbling. She soon meets a restoration expert (Adam Demos) who helps her try and restore the inn but their relationship ends up being more than that.

12th February: Hug Day – To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before

Today’s pick is a recent rom-com called To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before. This film has a sequel to it as well, just saying. Based on a book, this film revolves around a shy high school junior Lara Jean Covey who writes letters to the boys she has major crushes on and she hides these letters in her closet until one day she wakes up to realize all the letters have been mailed out to these boys.

13th February: Kiss Day – The Notebook

Our pick for the day before V-day is The Notebook. This romantic classic is based on a novel with the same name by Nicholas Sparks. The film stars Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams as a young couple that falls in love in the 1940s. In the present day, their story is being read to us by an elderly man to a fellow nursing home resident.
