It’s no secret that Amit Sadh loves donning the uniform for the screen. In recent years, most of his memorable roles have been those in which he’s either a cop or an army officer. He is now gearing up for his next uniform-clad role with Jeet Ki Zid, which drops on Zee5 tomorrow.
The series is based on the life of Kargil hero Major Deependra Singh Senger, portrayed by Sadh. Senger’s story is an inspirational one. After being shot multiple times during battle, he was declared unfit to walk ever again. But through sheer grit, dedication and commitment, he overcame this setback and rebuilt his life.
As we await the release of Jeet Ki Zid, here’s a look at some of the roles Amit Sadh has earlier played in uniform.
‘Breathe’ and ‘Breathe: Into The Shadows’
Breathe and Breathe: Into The Shadows were two separate shows, but Sadh’s character of Inspector Kabir Sawant remained a constant across both. His portrayal of a complex character, one who battles demons from his personal life while chasing serial killers, was highly appreciated by the audience.

‘Operation Parindey’
The Zee5 original film is based on the 2016 jailbreak of six terrorists from a Delhi jail. Amit Sadh’s sharp-as-a-tack and no nonsense character of STF Abhinav Mathur is tasked with the job of hunting them down and preventing a potential terror attack.

‘Avrodh: The Siege Within’
The SonyLIV series is a retelling of the Uri surgical strikes by the Indian Army. Sadh plays Major Videep Singh, who leads the operation. Besides being a tough soldier, Videep is an affable character. His camaraderie with his men gives us among the better moments of the show.
