David Harbour, who plays Jim Hopper on Netflix’s Stranger Things revealed a little of what fans can expect from the fourth season of the show. In an interview, the actor said that the creators, the Duffer brothers are very aware of what fans want to see from Stranger Things, but they aren’t afraid to add their own twists. He went on to express his satisfaction with the direction that the new set of episodes take his character in, even saying that the season is his favourite so far.
“The Duffer Brothers (Matt and Ross Duffer), are very responsive to the fan response, but also a step ahead with the script. You will see a lot of your favorite characters doing the thing that you love them for… but you’ll also see them twist it and turn it into other colors and other flavors.”
Stranger Things is one of Netflix’s most popular originals. The long gap between seasons is painful for fans. Season three released over a year ago in 2019, and while Netflix was planning an early 2021 release for the fourth, this was impossible due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We should see new episodes in mid to late 2021.
