Production on the Netflix’s Stranger Things is in full swing after pandemic-related production delays in 2020 had pushed deadlines. Netflix aimed to air the show’s fourth season in early 2021, but production resumed at the end of the year at a slower pace. Finn Wolfhard who plays Mike Wheeler in the series says that season four is the show’s darkest yet.
Every season it gets darker. I will say with season three I was like, ‘This is the darkest season that there’ll ever be’ – exploding rats and everything. But really, season four so far… it’s the darkest season that’s ever been made.”

Stranger Things season three featured more action than was shown in previous episodes. It’s been upping the ante with each new season. It seems like the new set of episodes is looking to continue that trend.
