Indians love K-dramas, and with good reason. We’re talking great storytelling, plots that might sound bizarre in theory but work really well in practice, good acting, and a soundtrack you want to add to your playlist. And while Netflix has a sizeable collection of K-dramas to fuel your obsession for months, check out Dramacool, a streaming platform for all things Asian. Here’s a handy guide to some of the best K-dramas on it.

‘River Where the Moon Rises’

Based on Choi Sagyu’s novel Princess Pyeonggang, this historical drama brings to life a Goguryeo folktale that depicts the love story of Princess Pyeonggang (Kim So-hyun) and On Dal (Na In-woo). The princess dreams of being the first female monarch of Goguryeo and uses On Dal, the general of Goguryeo, to achieve her goal.

‘Sisyphus: The Myth’

‘She Would Never Know’

Based on the web novel Senior, Don’t Put on That Lipstick, this romantic drama centers on the marketing team of a renowned cosmetic brand. In particular, it focuses on the boss-employee romance between Yoon Song-ah (Won Jin-ah) and Chae Hyun-seung (Rowoon).

‘Mr Queen’

He then has to navigate not only the reigning monarch and his spouse, King Cheoljong (Kim Jung-hyun) but also royal politics.

‘A Love So Beautiful’

‘True Beauty’
