The new trailer for season two of Netflix’s Snowpiercer has dropped and its big bad has finally been revealed. Based on the 2013 film of the same name (directed by Parasite’s Bong Joon-Ho and starring Chris Evans), the post-apocalyptic series is set in a future in which Earth is hit with a new ice age and the last remaining human survivors are passengers of Snowpiercer, a massive train that never stops moving.
The trailer gives us a good look at the new addition to Snowpiercer’s cast: Sean Bean as Mr. Wilford, the billionaire mastermind of the train. A central antagonist in the original film as well, Wilford was revealed to be alive as part of season one’s finale cliffhanger.
