The pandemic put paid to a whole lot of sporting events and even the ones that took place, had restrictions. Even a year into the pandemic, it looks like it’s going to be a while before most sports go back to some kind of normal. If you’re a sports aficionado, don’t let this get you down. While you wait to cheer from the stands at the next tournament, watch these six inspiring sports documentaries.

‘First Team: Juventus’

If you’re a Juventus fan (or just a football fan), you’re going to enjoy watching this show. The docuseries tracks the characters and stories of popular Italian football club Juventus, throughout the course of the 2017-18 Serie A season. From spotlighting the lives of the players both on and off the field to plenty of behind the scenes moments, this six-part series chronicles significant moments of from the team’s history.
