A new set photo from Showtime’s Halo TV series starring Pablo Schreiber (American Gods) teases Master Chief’s armour in the live-action adaptation. Halo is a mega hit video genre-defining game series, developed by Bungie studios for Xbox in 2001. The game is now a pop culture phenomenon with its central character the Master Chief, a recognizable figure to rival Mario. The game is a first person shooter set in a future where humans, having developed the technology to travel at the speed of light, have colonized other planets. The series follows humanity’s intergalactic war with a group of alien religious fanatics called The Covenant. Schreiber, the actor cast as the Chief released a set photo via his Instagram, to announce that the series has resumed filming. The photo has him posing in front of his trailer wearing the bottom half of his Master Chief helmet, giving us a first look at the iconic armour.
