‘The Mandalorian’ S2 Episode 2 Is An Arachnophobic Nightmare

The galaxy-travelling bounty hunter and his adorable sidekick Baby Yoda are finally back for a second outing on Disney+ Hotstar’s The Mandalorian. Here’s a quick recap of the second episode of of the season.

The quest continues

Mando and the baby return to Mos Eisley after acquiring Boba Fett’s armour last episode. Mando reunites with mechanic Peli Motto in the cantina and finds out that there’s another Mandalorian on a planet nearby. Our Mando needs to get others from his guid to join up with him to help reunite Baby Yoda with his own kind. He sets off in search of this potential ally. On the journey, Trapper Wolf, a Republic X-Wing pilot pursues Mando with an arrest warrant from last season.

An arachnophobe’s nightmare

During the chase Mando’s ship crash lands on an icy, deserted planet and Baby Yoda accidentally awakens a group of spider-like aliens. This would be completely terrifying if we weren’t treated to shots of Baby Yoda eating tiny spiders. They finally manage to escape when Mando gets their ship up and running. However, he isn’t able to fully repair it. The engine is working, but he is unable to fix the damaged hull. So at the end of the episode, he and Baby Yoda are trapped in the cockpit as the ship labours on through space.
