Based on Sandhya Menon’s young adult novel When Dimple Met Rishi, Netflix’s upcoming show Mismatched offers a sweet and quirky take on the opposites attract romance trope. Meet Dimple Ahuja (Prajakta Koli), whose ambitions are diametrically opposite to getting married. She’s sassy, smart and wants to be the next Steve Jobs. On the other end of the spectrum is Rishi Shekhawat (Rohan Saraf) a hopeless romantic who can’t wait for his happily ever after. Add to this a summer camp, a coding contest with a lucrative internship as a prize, an oddball medley of friends, and the stage is set for romance, drama and comedy.
Mismatched premieres on Netflix on Friday, November 20.
