8 Youth-Centric Indian Web Series To Watch While You Wait For ‘Kota Factory’ Season 2

When ‘Kota Factory’ first released, it made a deep impact on the Indian youth. Apart from showcasing the plight of students preparing for the biggest exams in the country, the makers also shed light on the many friendships that are formed along the way. Now, the series returns with season two, which airs on September 24 on Netflix. While you wait for season two to drop, here are other youth-centric Indian shows that you can watch, which explore similar themes.

‘Engineering Girls’

Set in an engineering college, this show tracks the lives of three engineering students – Sabu, Maggu and Kiara. Together, they deal with dorm drama, relationship issues and more. In season two, the girls are in their final year and begin to get serious about life after college.

In season two, the show focuses on Dr Shreya Pathare (Shweta Tripathi) and her battle with the government to provide healthcare in the village of Sitlapur.

The series explores simple everyday moments and millennial problems in a refreshing and engaging manner. Season four airs on Netflix on October 15.

Based on Sandhya Menon’s novel ‘When Dimple Met Rishi’, this show explores the budding romance between, two youngsters. Dimple Ahuja (Prajakta Koli) is a gamer who wants to be a tech whiz. Rishi Singh Shekhawat (Rohit Saraf) on the other hand, is a guy who believes in the traditional ways of dating and is on the lookout for his ‘future wife’ at Aravalli Institute. When their paths cross, Rishi falls for Dimple and wants to marry her.
