Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is directors SS Rajamouli’s second installment in the Baahubali franchise, India’s best period drama and action film. It is undoubtedly his best work ever and was ended at the climax and left the audience at a major cliffhanger, ‘Why did Katappa kill Baahubali?’. The movie resembles the popular T.V Series ‘Game of Thrones’ and can be called the Indian counterpart to famous international movie franchises like Lord of The Rings, Harry Potter and Star Wars! We are still baffled with the most sensational question in India and everyone wants to know the answer after so much of hype around it.

When the first part came out, it was something Indian audiences had never witnessed before. Huge sets with some great war scenes and old civilisations actually made the scene and dazzled Indian audiences all over the country. We have witnessed a lot of other war dramas too, like Asoka, Jodha Akbar, Bajirao Mastani and Mohenjo Daro, but the Baahubali series still stands apart high, and how! The budget for the second part is ₹243 crores and despite of the huge costs involved, the second part has already earned double the profits for its makers as the theatrical and satellite rights have been picked up for a whopping ₹500 crores.

The movie is slated to release this Friday and is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Apart from Prabhas and Anushka Shetty, the characters of Sathyaraj as Kattappa, Rana Daggubati as Bhalla Deva and Tamannaah Bhatia as Avantika will be central to Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. The music is out already and features songs like Sahore Baahubali, Humse Naava, Oka Pranaam, making it a romantic war drama in the overall sense.

From an economic standpoint, fusion of film industries can only lead to the overall rise in quality of the films made in India. The movie is slated to release on April 28, and the pre bookings are open for the movie buffs to watch it in the first weekend. Also it is going to be a long weekend in Maharashtra, so theatres will expect a large footfall for this upcoming Hindi action movie.
