Fans of Colors's dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, there's a sad news for you folks! If sources are to be believed, the celebrity dance reality show will not return for its tenth season this year. And the reason stated is that the channel has booked its calendar for the upcoming season of Bigg Boss and the channel doesn't have any slot available for Jhalak. Bigg Boss, which will be returning with its eleventh season this year, will be aired in September after Khatron Ke Khiladi gets wrapped up. Another reason, if reports are to be believed, for the scrapping of Jhalak is its TRP. Apparently, the show's TRPs dipped in the last season and the Channel is not keen to revive it this year.

Amid all these speculations,Salman Khan, who is returning once again for this season of Bigg Boss, has started shooting for its promo, which will be out in few days now. Every year this controversial show comes up with a unique and interesting concept. Last season, for the first time, along with the celebrities, commoners also entered the house as inmates. The similar theme will be revived this season as well, but with a twist. It is reported that in order to spice up things, this season will also see contestants who are real life family members. These members will come together so that they can dig out details on each other’s past to add to the conflict. And along with them, some controversial faces from the glamour and sports world will also be there to make things even more interesting in the house.

As for Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, nothing is confirmed yet! One rumour is also going around that the channel is not scrapping the show, just planning to postpone it a little bit. The show might air in November alongside Bigg Boss and if the rumours are to be believed, this year, the judges panel includes, veteran actress Sri Devi , ace Bollywood dancer Govinda along with Malaika Arora. The last season of Jhalak was judged by Karan Johar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Ganesh Hegde and Farah Khan. The show started on a promising note, but in the due course, its TRPs dipped and the season was tagged as one of the most unpopular seasons of Jhalak.
