Justin Bieber is on his way to Mumbai. As part of his new album’s promotional tour, Purpose World Tour, the crown prince of Pop will be performing in the sub-continent for the first time ever. After captivating the fans and critics all over the United States, Canada and Japan last year, Justin makes his way to India, Dubai, Europe, New Zealand and Australia now in 2017. The speculations around his Purpose World Tour coming to India had been doing the rounds for a couple of weeks. But it was last week when White Fox India, the sole official promoter of Bieber’s Purpose World Tour, confirmed the maiden Justin Bieber concert in India, to be held at Navi Mumbai’s DY Patil stadium on May 10th.

3. What is It – Bieber’s Purpose World Tour is to promote and celebrate his fourth album,
Purpose. The organisers have already announced that this extraordinary, larger-than-life show will be of a magnitude that the country has not witnessed in a long time. Apart from India, the Asia leg of the tour will also see him performing in Tel Aviv and Dubai. The Purpose World Tour was kicked off in March 2016 in Seattle and will conclude in September 2017 in Toronto.
4. What to expect – Last year when Coldplay performed in India, we thought it just couldn’t get better than this. Now, when Bieber is making his way to India, we know anything could happen. This concert will be much bigger with an expected footfall will be ranging somewhere in between 1- 1.5 lacs. It will be propelled by state-of- the-art production. And if sources are to be believed, many top celebrities from Bollywood, corporate houses and the sports world will also grace the concert. Buzz is that DJ Martin Garrix who is a close pal of Bieber, will be travelling with the singer.
