The well-known comedian and actor Vir Das is embarking on a world tour to bring his signature brand of comedy to audiences of all hues across twenty countries and over six continents. The quirky and out of the box comedian is the highest-selling English stand-up comic in India and if you haven’t already attended one of his shows, be sure to check him out on Netflix.
For the not-so-easily-offended there’s also his Potcast on YouTube which is essentially him seated on a toilet seat discussing current affairs and trending news at the time, mixed with satire and some suggestive jokes that is not for the faint of heart and is surely refreshing when compared to the recycled brand of comedy that audiences are accustomed to now a days. Whatever your brand of comedy, Das has something in store for everyone.
The comedian has also acted in a number of Bollywood movies like Namastey London, Love Aaj Kal, Delhi Belly, Go Goa Gone, Shaadi Ke Side Effects and others. Recently, he made his debut on the popular late-night American talk show, The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien, where he pretty much ripped apart U.S. President Donald Trump and left the audience and the host in splits.

Das did not go the usual way of expected jokes from Indian comedians by talking about funny accents or making some cultural jokes. Instead, he spoke about the global political scene and in a lighter vein and even suggested that religion should be upgraded kind of like our smartphones. He is surely one to watch out for.
Das is set to tour Bengaluru, Mumbai, Margao (Goa), Ranchi and Lucknow with dates beginning on the 7th of December up until the 7th of January next year. The Boarding Das tour as it is called is set to feature a brand new special written by Das and will make for the perfect segue from his now popular Netflix Comedy Special.
