Salman Khan's much-awaited Eid release, Tubelight's first poster is out and we are left craving for more. After the success of Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Ek Tha Tiger, the duo, Kabir Khan and Salman Khan are back with yet another probable blockbuster of the year, Tubelight. The movie has been creating tremendous buzz ever since it was announced and now when its first poster is out, the excitement level amongst the fans has reached new heights.
Looks like minimalistic posters have become a trend these days. Filmmakers design the posters and first look of their film in such a way that they reveal just what is needed to tease the audience – nothing much, nothing too little. Tubelight's poster is the perfect example of it. We couldn't help but crave for more after seeing the first poster of the film. In the poster, Salman Khan's back is facing the camera. Dressed in a brown blazer and pants with a cap and a cross body bag, Salman's character is generating a lot of curiosity amongst the viewers. And the caption, “Kya Tumhe Yakeen Hai” adds up to the whole excitement. Set in the 1962 China-India war, the film will narrate the love story of an Indian soldier (played by Salman Khan) and Chinese girl (played by Chinese actress Zhu Zhu). The film is set to hit the theatres this Eid in July.
Releasing in July, Tubelight has already broken few records. Apparently the distribution rights of the film have been sold at a whopping amount of 132 crore, which surpassed Shah Rukh Khan's Dilwale, whose distribution rights were sold at 125 crore, the highest for any Indian film, until now. The music rights of the film have also been sold at a record-breaking amount. The statement by Kabir Khan that Salman's performance in Tubelight will be 5 times ahead of Bajrangi Bhaijaan has only raised the excitement among the innumerable fans of Bhai.
There's another piece of news that will make fans even more crazy! Shah Rukh Khan is said to be having a cameo in the film. Yes, you read it right! SRK and Salman Khan will share the screen space in Tubelight, after almost a decade. It will surely make millions head to theatres this Eid.
Tubelight's teaser is attached to Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which is all set to hit the thaetres on April 28th.
