Walk for Health is back! Undertaken by Max Bupa Health Insurance, Walk For Health is an annual initiative aimed at encouraging more and more people to take up walking in their daily life as a means to stay fit and healthy. Happening in Delhi on 19th of Feb and Bengaluru on 26th of Feb, let health take the front seat and participate in Max Bupa Walk For Health. Let all of us pledge to walk for Health this February!

The objective of this Marathon Event in Delhi and Bengaluru is to spread awareness about the benefits of Walking to health and fitness and how instilling Walking as a part of daily life helps in curbing multiple lifestyle diseases and in turn leads to happier and healthier lives. Walking is better than any other form of exercise as it is effective and simplistic. Walking brings about a positive, long term and sustainable behavioural change in our lifestyle. This is why Max Bupa Health Insurance invites people of all ages to partake in leisure activities like walking, Zumba, and other warm up exercises and performances in their annual flagship event, Walk For Health. You are invited to participate in 5 Km and 2Km Marathon Walks.

Another reason for you to join this Health Event is to meet your favourite stars from the upcoming Bollywood movie Rangoon. Kangana Ranaut, Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor will flag off the event in Delhi. Along with them, there will be various cartoon characters, TV networks and other corporate brands that will add fun to your walk on the day. In Delhi, the walk will start from Major Dhayan Chand National stadium at 7.00 in the morning and in Bengaluru, the starting point will be Kanteevara stadium.

Last week Mumbai walked for Health. Everybody from Mumbai dabbawalas to celebrities, joined the walk and made it a success. These kind of events are the need of the hour, especially in cities like Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru, where people are so busy with their work life that they hardly get time to focus on their health. Walk For Health is one of the few Health Events in Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru that promote walking and overall fitness amongst the citizens.
