The Hitmans Bodyguard Movie Review
Written by Archit Chawla

There are very few performances that manage to give us the utter satisfaction of watching a multi-star movie and Hitman’s Bodyguard is definitely one of them. Starring Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L.Jackson in the lead roles, this movie can be termed nothing short of amazing. This English action movie directed by Patrick Hughes was released this Friday and has collected commendations from all over the world.

The Hitmans Bodyguard Movie

There are bullets flying, cars blowing up, bombs blowing up, and chases on multiple modes of transportation. Yes well, that’s all what makes a movie high on action and we have it all here. It’s not a James Bond movie but nothing less than it. It might not be realistic, but it’s not trying to be either. This action flick stands out immensely from other films of this genre with the superb acting from the main cast which also includes French actress Elodie Yung and the very talented Salma Hayek. On the technical front, there are some interesting transitions that are used to move from one sequence to the next and they make the movie a lot more seamless and worth watching.

Full Starcast

Ryan Reynolds plays a protection agent, Michael Bryce, who goes from guarding international clients to protecting rich drug addicts. Samuel L. Jackson plays Darius Kincaid, a hitman who isn’t as bad as you’d think and plays this charming character who is always in a love hate relationship with Bryce. Kincaid has tried to kill Bryce 28 times, but they manage to put their history aside and work together, eventually. There are solid performances from the women as well. Elodie Yung and Salma Hayek in particular, seem to be having a blast from the f-bombs to insane action scenes and what not. Watching the scenic Amsterdam sequences and watching the lead actors play an exaggerated version of themselves alone is worth the price you pay to watch this film. This is a movie where you get to sit back, have popcorn and just have fun. So do not miss on a chance to catch this latest English action movie in the theatres near you.
