Monsoon Shootout- Bookmyshow News

Monsoon Shootout is the fourth movie of the unorthodox actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the year and he clearly is not stopping anytime soon. Even though this movie was made a while ago, but was released today and is getting positive feedback from the audiences. Directed by Amit Kumar, this movie has an artsy style of narrating a story which is always welcome and in this case, is also intriguing. An experienced encounter specialist, a suspected psycho criminal, a hungry for power politician and a grieving wife make up the players for this superbly narrated movie.

The story starts with Adi (Vijay Varma) who wants to follow his dad’s footsteps and be a good policeman. In the hope of coming out as a cop with strong morals, he is confronted with a suspected axe-murderer Shiva (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) in the crosshairs. While scrutinizing his case, he has three choices which sets the course of the rest of the movie. In the first one, he lets the suspect go, in the second, he kills him, and in his final option, he puts him behind bars hoping for the court to sentence this killer. Things results differently in each story but the end is nealmost the same in every scenario.

Adi’s girlfriend Anu (Geetanjali Thapa), his senior officer (Neeraj Kabi) and Shiva’s wife Rani (Tannishtha Chatterjee) play integral parts in the movie and you will love the grey shades in their characters. The cinematography, the unending rain, the deep background music and the tension between Shiva and Adi gives the movie Monsoon Shootout its mood and intensity. The movie time is just about 1hr and 32 mins and the dialogues are dark, hitting and intense and so are the characters of the movie.

To know which path Adi takes, go and watch the movie and witness one of the most intense movie by this Gangs Of Wasseypur actor Nawazuddin Siddqui. If you like dark thrillers and you crave some food for your mind, do not even think about giving this movie a miss!
