After 5 years, Salman Khan is back in the action as a Raw agent and is all ready to save the day like no one else. After the big commercial success of Ek Tha Tiger in 2012, Tiger Zinda Hai has just released and delivering power packed shows all along. While the previous one was directed by Kabir Khan, this latest hindi movie Tiger Zinda Hai is helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The year 2017 as it’s going had two major films of Salman- Tubelight and Tiger Zinda Hai and the latter one features him as an adroit and unstoppable force against evil.

When a group of 40 Indian and Pakistani nurses are taken hostage by religious extremists in Iraq – this plot becomes a newspaper headline- a resting Tiger is called out of his den in Austria, where he now lives with his wife of eight years Zoya played by Katrina Kaif, the beautiful Pakistani spy who fell in love with him in the precursor.

Ali Abbas Zafar, the director of the film is getting better and better with each film. He has had a rough start with Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and Gunday some years back but is buck in full power with Sultan and now Tiger Zinda Hai. Katrina Kaif has got a solid part to play instead of just being eye candy like most of her films. She single-handedly executes a rescue mission in which there are many hand-to-hand combats.

The music is given by Vishal-Shekhar and is one of the most catchy albums of the year so far. Swag Se Swagan and Dil Diyan Gallan are the highlights of the movie. Where as the story is inspired by an incident that is also at the heart of the Malayalam smash hit Take Off, Tiger Zinda Hai seems like going haywire in pursuit of its outmoded notions of masculinity and heroism. Salman undeniably outshines throughout the movie and is all set to give the biggest commercial hit of the year. Do watch it if you love Salman Khan and his acts of heroism.
