Allu Arjun has been on a roll recently. His previous two movies have catapulted expectations for his latest outings, with Sarrainodu’s Hindi dubbed version being the most watched Indian movie on YouTube and Duvvada Jagannadham making over INR 138.10 crore in box-office.

With back to back box-office successes Sarrainodu and Duvvada Jagannatham, he’s back with another explosive commercial entertainer Naa Peru Surya, Naa Illu India. The trailer had made fans to go into a state of frenzy with Allu Arjun’s shaved eyebrow look and high-intensity action sequences.

In Naa Peru Surya, Naa Illu India, Allu Arjun plays an army man with anger management issues. The plot itself is intriguing enough as it questions our general notion about army men being calm and composed. The movie would be the directorial debut of screenwriter Vakkantham Vamsi.

Talking about the film, Vakkantham Vamsi said:

“It’s an emotional story of a guy who wants to serve his country at the border. His anger issues come in the way of his dream, and how he handles it forms the crux of the story.”

Apart from Allu Arjun, the movie also stars Anu Emmanuel, Arjun Sarja, Sarath Kumar and Bollywood actor Boman Irani in lead roles. Naa Peru Surya, Naa Illu India is releasing in theatres on May 4 2018 in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
