This crime movie shows what it truly means to be a classic. Set in a one jury room, entirely based on dialogues and actors, it may not be for everyone, but a true cinema fan would not miss it.

Taxi Driver (1976)

This is an engaging and powerful film by Martin Scorsese. A perfect mix of De Niro’s acting and Schrader’s writing. It is not one of those slash, shoot, cut and chase crime movies; it develops slowly and keeps the audience engaged throughout the whole movie.

 Pulp Fiction (1994)

This movie is Quentin Tarantino at his best. Pulp Fiction is one of the best of the crime genre with well-written characters and dialogues, great performances, and direction. What makes this movie much more than it already is the brilliant performance by Samuel L Jackson, John Travolta and Uma Thurman.

It is an excellent story portrayed with such brilliance by Hirokazu Koreeda. The smart direction, stunning cinematography and impactful performances of this movie will keep the viewer fully immersed in the lives of people in a lower-class family in Japan.
