A lot of Bollywood celebrities graced the premiere of the highly anticipated movie Star Wars: The Last Jedi on Thursday, which was a special screening before the movie officially released today. The stars in attendance included Ranbir Kapoor, Kiran Rao, filmmaker Ayan Mukerji, newly engaged and former Bigg Boss couple Keith Sequeira and Rochelle Rao, Sonali Bendre and family, director Vikramaditya Motwane of critically acclaimed movie Trapped, director Advait Chandan of Secret Superstar fame, producer Guneet Monga who recently backed the movie Haraamkhor and many more, they made their way to PVR at Lower Parel to watch the much-awaited movie saga for the ages.
Just like other fans Bollywood stars too would be delighted to watch this new franchise of Star Wars as one can finally witness the ultimate battle between the Resistance and the first Order along with the journey of young Jedi Rey.
A little-known fact is that Ranbir Kapoor was once offered a role for a Star Wars movie but declined it as he was offered a role as the second lead in the film. The actor confessed this in an interaction with Rajeev Masand last year. At the premiere, the star was dressed in a trendy shirt and dark blue jeans paired with some brown boots and happily posed for photographers. Ranbir Kapoor is currently shooting for a Sanjay Dutt biopic directed by Rajkumar Hirani and will be collaborating with Ayan Mukerji for Brahmastra alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Alia Bhatt.
