Moviegoers must not be aware that the Masoom kid from the 1980’s is the same actor who has played the role of a paedophile in the dark thriller Kahaani 2 this year. He was surprisingly effective as a creepy uncle in the film. He was convincing to audiences as an evil man that needs to be stopped.
2. Shah Rukh Khan as Gaurav Chandna in Fan
Although SRK’s movie didn’t do so well at the box office, he sure did make the audience a fan of his character Gaurav Chandna, an obsessive fan of a superstar in his movie. His acting was the most controlled and well delivered in the film. The fierce obsession of the character was dark and mysterious and surely deserves a nod for IIFA.

The courtroom thriller Pink has Angad Bedi playing a very convincing villain. The controversial movie had audiences hating his character Rajveer every time he appeared on screen. The patriarchal character portrayal deserves a nomination for awards as well.
Besides these roles there were others that are also well-deserving such as Jim Sarabh as Khalil in Neerja, Taher Raj Bhasin as Shiv Sharma in Force 2, Anurag Kashyap as an ACP in Akira and Shreedhar Babu as Raghav in Baaghi, amongst others.
