Music is one of the most important parts of Bollywood movies. The majority of Hindi music that people listen to across India happens to come from Bollywood movies, which means that the singers behind them are equally important. Many of these Bollywood singers have even sung songs for other film industries and some even branched out to other languages, but their everlasting popularity in Bollywood continues. These are five of the best Bollywood singers who have contributed their voices to some of the best hit songs from the industry:

Arijit Singh

 

One of the most talented and versatile singers in Bollywood right now, Arijit Singh had even gone on a nation-wide tour recently where he drew huge crowds. He has sung songs for movies like Rangoon, Rabta, and Bareilly Ki Barfi.

 

Sunidhi Chauhan

 

Sunidhi rose to fame from winning a reality singing competition, and with her first big hit song Ruki Ruki Si Zindagi from the 1999 movie Mast. She has sung for movies like  Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Dear Zindagi, and Guzaarish.

Atif Aslam

 

This Pakistani singer became popular in Bollywood when his song Woh Lamhey was included in the 2005 film Zeher. Recent Bollywood films to include his songs are Hindi Medium, Qarib Qarib Singlle, and Baaghi 2.

Shaan

 

Shaan is one of the most popular and renowned Bollywood singers as he’s not only sung for movies, he has even hosted many reality singing shows. He has sung songs for many Bollywood movies since 1999 including  Jab We Met, 3 Idiots, and Taare Zameen Par.

Sonu Nigam

 

Another one of the famous Bollywood singers is Sonu Nigam. He rose to prominence during the late 90s and early 2000s. Some of the movies to feature his songs are Kal Ho Naa Ho, Singh Saab The Great, and Agneepath.
