The fever of Bahubali is not just getting over! After creating history in the Indian film industry (and several other parts of the world too), Bahubali 2: The Conclusion is all set to conquer the Chinese market as well. A few weeks back we saw Dangal released in China and it has been breaking all the records since then. Now it’s Babubali’s turn which has already left the Aamir Khan starrer Dangal behind in terms of screen counts it will be releasing. A whopping 6000 screens have been allotted to Dangal in China. However, the release date has not been confirmed yet, but it is expected to hit the theatres in China in July sometime. S.S. Rajamouli’s magnum opus toppled Vin Diesel’s Fate of the Furious and secured the number three spot on the US box office when it was released there in April. It also left behind Tom Hanks and Emma Watson’s The Circle, which was released in over 3,000 screens.

Apparently, China only grants release license to only 34 foreign movies in a year with a screening restriction of not more than a month. However, Dangal managed to get some concession and the screening of the film has been extended till July. Now that Bahubali 2: The Conclusion is also gearing up for release in China in July, it would be interesting to see both the movies wrestling it out in the Chinese market. With the earning of over USD 117 million at the Chinese box office, Dangal has become the first top-grossing non-Hollywood film in China. But seeing the dream run of Babubali across the globe, S.S. Rajamouli’s epic entertainer is expected to perform even much better than Dangal in China. The film has already crossed 1600 crore mark worldwide and is slowly inching towards 2000 crore mark.

Prabhas and Rana Duggubatti starrer, Bahubali 2: The Conclusion, has been on a record-breaking spree ever since it was released. When it came out on April 28th , the movie is was dubbed in many languages and released across the globe in several countries. China is the market where Bollywood movies are often well received. Now it would be interesting to see the head-to-head battle between two great Hindi movies, Dangal and Bahubali 2: The Conclusion. Whatever be the result of this confrontation one thing is for sure, Bollywood movies are making all the right sounds at box offices internationally.
