Fresh off the success of Mahanati, the South Indian sweetheart Dulquer Salmaan is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Karwaan. He will also be joined by Mithila Palkar of Girl in the City and Little Things fame along with the much-loved Irrfan Khan. Earlier slated for a June 1 release, the film will hit the big screen on August 10.
Produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP in association with Ishka Films, Karwaan also marks the debut of Akarsh Khurana as a Bollywood director. South Indian star Dulquer revealed the first look poster of the film along with the release date through a Tweet:

The poster features the three talented actors sharing a light moment while sipping coconut water. But what gets us in this poster is the tag line which reads ‘3 lost souls…2 dead bodies…A journey of a lifetime’. Shot in Kerala, Karwaan revolves around three oddball characters from different walks of life who are thrown together on a somewhat bizarre journey which helps them find normalcy in their lives.
Three talented artists from diverse backgrounds, Dulquer Salmaan, Mithila Palkar and Akash Khurana, will be making their debut with this film. With a well-known name in the South film industry, an online sensation, and a popular Bollywood star in the lead roles, this promises to be a good one.
