Sanjay Dutt’s upcoming film Prassthanam is currently being shot. The Bollywood Khalnayak is back in action with his new Hindi film. The actor who is basking in glory of the success of the movie Sanju made on his life will be looking forward to his upcoming project. Sanju which released on 29th June, 2018 had actor Ranbir Kapoor essaying Sanjay Dutt and was directed by Rajkumar Hirani. Prassthanam on the other hand is a telugu remake of the 2010 political-thriller with the same name. The telugu film was directed by Deva Katta who will be helming the Hindi project too.
The first look poster of Prassthanam was released on 10th July, 2018. The motion poster has Sanjay Dutt and can be heard mouthing a powerful dialogue, “Haq doge toh Ramayan shuru hogi, chhinoge toh Mahabharat”. The actor shared the motion poster on scial media with the same caption. The actor’s voice and the way he says the dialogue is just amazing to hear. The actor will be seen sharing screen-space with Ali Fazal, Amyra Dastur, Satyajit Dubey, Jackie Shroff and Manisha Koirala. The 2010 film starrer actors Sharwanand, Saikumar, Sundeep Kishan and was a blockbuster hit. Sanjay Dutt’s film is currently being shot in Lucknow. The film is being produced by Sanjay Dutt’s home production. The actor was last seen in the 2017 film Bhoomi alongside actress Aditi Rao Hydari.
The actor has other upcoming projects he will be seen in. His other films are Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 and Torbaaz. The release date of Prassthanam is still not confirmed but will most probably be released this year.
