It is a matter of great pride for the entire team of Hitcki, to have their work showcased at the prestigious Rashtrapati Bhavan to country’s honorable President Mr. Ram Nath Kovind. The event is likely to take place in the last week of April, 2018.
The film has opened to a great response by critics and fans are showering praise and love on this relevant film about overcoming one’s weakness and giving back to the society.
Interestingly, Hitcki was first scripted for a Male teacher, director Sidharth P. Malhotra lived with the film for 5 years, before narrating it to producer Maneesh Sharma, who then tweaked the character to a strong female protagonist.
Fortunately, Rani Mukerji was cast in this social drama, which also marks her comeback to the films after a hiatus of 4 years, since the birth of her daughter Adira. She was last seen in crime thriller Mardaani.
The producer Maneesh Sharma is over the moon to make such an impact with his beloved film, and is humbled to spread social messages which reach far and wide across the country.
The story is about a new teacher with a speech defect, Tourette syndrome, who applies for a challenging job where she is given the task to educate the lesser privileged students, known thus far, for their notoriety.
